Aslıhan Eda Arısoy was born in Niğde in 1990. She completed her primary and secondary education there and graduated in Environmental Engineering from Mersin University’s Faculty of Engineering in 2013. She began working during her undergraduate studies and served as head of the Waste Strategy Unit within the Environmental Services Department at the 17th Mediterranean Games in 2013. She subsequently held various environmental and waste-management roles in local government and the private sector.
In 2019, she began a master’s programme in Nuclear Engineering at Paris-Saclay University in France under the Ministry of National Education’s YLSY overseas postgraduate scholarship programme. After the first year, she continued at CentraleSupélec within Paris-Saclay in Decommissioning and Radioactive Waste Management, completing her master’s degree in that field.
Since 2021, she has worked at TENMAK, an agency affiliated with the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, taking an active role in its radioactive waste management activities. She also continues her association work as a founding board member of the Association of Experts Educated Abroad.
Her interests include horse riding, swimming, tennis, origami and exploring new places.
